Story Assembly
Come one, come all. If you’re a lover of stories, a storyteller yourself, or just someone interested in other people, join the assembly. Story Assembly is an exploration of our storytellers’ journeys, and a chance to glimpse how they see the stories all around us. By the end, we may find that things are more connected than we thought. Or maybe we’ll just leave having heard some pretty good stories.
A conversation, not a lecture
A host guides a small group of storytellers through a live conversation, seated in the round with the audience. We’ll get to know them, learn how storytelling shows up in their lives, and then dig into the story each one picked to share.
Find out why that story stuck with you
There’s no single right way to relate to a story. How it’s built, what it means, how it lands, all of that shifts depending on who’s hearing it. Watch it play out live in the room, and by the end, you might notice your own sense of the stories all around you looks a little different.
You’re not just in the audience, you’re part of the assembly
This isn’t something you watch from a distance. You’re seated in the round, close enough to react in real time, and those reactions become part of the room.
