This cute blonde hair blue eyed little girl fits the stereotypical mold. Growing up in a nice St. Louis neighborhood, Samantha Lander was high-achieving in many areas of her life. She excelled at sports, music, academics, and pretty much anything she set her mind to. While she looked picture perfect on the outside she also struggled feeling as thought she never fit in and life just felt hard. She struggled with chronic exhaustion and stomach aches a majority of her life and never really found answers. Always, seeking a way to just feel “normal”. Eventually, she turned to drugs to self-medicate for what she now knows as ADHD. Her entrepreneurial spirit picked up quickly on the business potential of selling drugs. That cute little blonde-haired girl found her moral compass quickly buried deep down in her life as a Drug dealer and DJ in LA. Today, Samantha is a multi-business owner in the wellness space emphasizing a whole body approach to healing. She knows that healing is not an easy journey: After 13 years of sobriety, she fell into the mommy wine culture and relapsed. Working through this setback gave Samantha a new-found commitment to be of service through her story. As a Campfire fellow, Samantha hopes to continue to impact others through her story and knows that touching even one person can save a life.
